by Kathryn 16. February 2010 09:44

Fusion Accounts has been accredited by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. Fusion Accounts, is an innovative, web-based business management, bookkeeping and accounting system.

Product manager Stuart McLean spoke about what this means for the company

‘We are delighted that our online accounting software has been accredited by the largest bookkeeping institute in the world. To be recognised by the Institute and to be described as a comprehensive package which includes all of the functionality of more well known bookkeeping software packages is exciting for the company’

‘We would like to use this opportunity to thank all of the businesses using our online accounting system Fusion Accounts, for their ongoing contribution and feedback which has resulted in many new enhanced features and functionality. We also look forward to continuing to meet & exceed their expectations’

The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers was established to provide a series of professional qualifications that reflect the needs of business and the aspirations of people wanting to enter the profession. It exists to represent bookkeepers at all levels and to promote the professionalism of bookkeepers to businesses, government and the general public.

In today’s world more and more businesses recognise the importance of having real-time access to their financial data. To assist these businesses Fusion Accounts have put in place a simple and easy migration path to help businesses import their existing data from other accounting packages that don’t offer this anytime, anywhere access.

In reviewing the software the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers point out that the beauty of an online bookkeeping package is that it can be accessed from any computer with internet access. Speaking directly about Fusion Accounts the Institute commented on how the software offers businesses good value for money as support, upgrades and backups are included in the monthly price.

A real benefit of Fusion Accounts is the fact the multiple users can access the software simultaneously and user access can be restricted for privacy and security.

Bookkeeping is a growing profession. It is about understanding how a business works and then providing accurate figures that enable the business to know exactly how well it is doing. Fusion Accounts aims to help business reduce costs, save time and become more profitable.

FREE Sage Import

by Kathryn 29. September 2009 19:38

Since we launched our online accounting software we have received an increasing number of requests from businesses to offer an import service of their sage data into Fusion.

We are now pleased to announce that for a limited time only we will be providing these sage imports free of charge. This offer allows businesses to test our software using real business data and it enables them to truly enjoy the benefits of our online accounting software.   The imports save valuable time for the business as there is no re-keying of data required.

Why are these businesses switching to Fusion Accounts you might ask. Well the main influencer for businesses has been to save money and also because they want to be able to access their accounts online. With Fusion they receive all upgrades for free, they don’t have to pay an additional fee for extra users and we offer them free support.  Fusion also gives them flexibility, allowing them to access their accounts from any location.

Another major influencer is that our software supports businesses that are VAT registered in more than one country. Our Dual Vat functionality has provided us with a somewhat niche market. In support of this our foreign currency module is offered as a free upgrade.

With Sage being a leading supplier in the accounting software sector it gives us great confidence to see that those businesses who have converted from Sage to Fusion are continuing to use our software after the 60 day free trial.   We have been highly commended on our high level of customer service and support.

We continue to develop our software further to ensure that the transition of moving from Sage to Fusion proves powerful for all our business users. Our next release which is coming soon has focused on the ‘usability’ of our software and will no doubt be welcomed by all our users.  Our software has become even more user friendly and will offer a sense of familiarity to users of Microsoft's Outlook software.

Fusion Accounts featured in the Newsletter

by Kathryn 31. March 2009 19:40

Good morning all,

I was just out at the shop there to buy a bar of Galaxy to accompany my cup of tea and picked up a copy of the Newsletter. To my surprise I opened the paper to find an insert belonging to one of our business partners, Aspire Business Solutions. Their insert focuses on how important it is for a business to manage its cash flow promoting their bookkeeping service and talks about their provider ‘Fusion Accounts’. It is nice to see our business partners broadcasting the benefits of our online accounting system.  Particular features they mention are the fact that Fusion Accounts is ‘cost effective’ and also that it is ‘very user friendly’. There is nothing more rewarding than reading about customer satisfaction.
